It gets dishes so clean, even pots and pans that have been sitting for a day or two. And leaves no spots on anything! It came with some Cascade detergent pods and rinse agent and that is what I am using. It has many bells and whistles which I have yet to try and may never use. Great Dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dishwasher was delivered on 4/29/2025, and I have been using it since. I suggest using the sample dishwashing detergent and rinsing agent, and your dishes will come out dry and perfect. I do put it on extra dry. The normal cycle takes long, so be prepared. I run it at night when we go to sleep.

Sparkling clean

Beware- purchase warranties!

Purchased in 2023, and worked well for 2 yrs. Then the control panel burned out, and since I did not purchase e,tended warranties, Whirlpool will not repair or replace the part. I suggest if you purchase this appliance, that you buy maximum extended warranties so you are not stuck with an inoperable unit. Haven't yet decided if I will replace, as current prices are high. So for now, using it as extra kitchen storage space. :(

Hope this one is half as reliable as old Whirlpool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this after the bins in my 27 year old Whirlpool were no longer usable. New one cleans great. Only thing I can complain about is the excessive time it takes to complete a load. I never trust leaving an appliance going if I leave the house.

This is my first new dishwasher in a long time, replacing my old faithful 28 year old Whirlpool which still worked great but all the racks were brokem and unusable. A bit hard to get used to the amount of time a normal wash cycle takes for the new machine.

Our Second Whirpool Dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just installed myself. Super quiet ( much quieter than previous Whirlpoo l). So far glasses and dishes sparkling clean. Door hinge mechanism is much improved. Special ordered black front looks great. Recommend using extended drying for best outcome.

Quieter Great Design

The Black Whirlpool dishwasher is replacing one that was part of a complete suite of kitchen appliances bought 10 years ago for a new condo. This new model actually matches better with the other appliances than the original. I love the plane front with sleek horizontal handle that can double as a towel bar. Back pain

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this a month ago and not happy that it is 5 inches from the floor, my otherone that I had was high on the bottom rack, now my back hurts from bending so far down. I called Whielpool and seems like this is the standard now. I checked the dishwasher out completed, but I did not notice that the machine in the store was sitting up high and not on the floor like the washers & dryers!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have enjoyed using this dishwasher. It does a great job cleaning the dishes. One thing I would like is having the racks a much lighter color. The dark racks and stainless steel interior makes it difficult to get the flatware in place and actually see where the knives are placed and the forks etc. other than that I like the dishwasher.
