So far the washer is performing well

However, the lack of access for suggested periodic cleaning of the filter is very very disappointing. Literature led us to believe it had a removable access panel, NONE EXISTS. That's why i might not recommend it to friends

Terrible design

We've been using this washer for about 6 months. Every side load washer needs to have the drain pump filter cleaned on occasion or your wash will stink. It's part of regular maintenance. Most washers either have a tray at the bottom of the front that pulls out or a little door on the front or side. This is so you can easily access the drain pump filter for REQUIRED cleanings. You have to take the entire top and front of this washer off to access it... door and all! What a terrible design! Somet...

The digital choices are great!

Great Reliability

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My other washer stopped working so I needed a new washer and I chose Whirlpool because I have a Whirlpool refrigerator that has run flawlessly for over 30 years so I hope that the washer has long term reliability.

Ease of use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far this washer is living up to its name - Whirlpool makes excellent products. It replaced a 20 year old washer that just couldn't run anymore. It was very easy transitioning to the new washer and I like the profile of the digital face.

Spin Cycle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I feel the machine is fine with one exception: Spin Cycle does not remove enough water even on High setting. Unlike my previous washing machine which did an excellent job removing excess water on high spin Cycle.

Performance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The only thing wrong with the washer is : I Like the Old Way of Washing where there was more water in the Machine. Being that it is Water Efficient, There is little water in the Wash Cycle.

Truly Quiet

Front Load Washer

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Had it for a month and it works great. The only reason I scored it 4 stars is that I cannot change the way the door opens. It opens left to right and I have to life the wet cloths over the door. I'd rather have it open left to right to match the dryer location.
