Seems like a good purchase -- so far

All is as described. Still getting to know the nuances such as 1) having to hold the start button in order to begin a wash cycle 2) auto spin setting seems to revert back to a medium spin which doesn't get enough water out to dry quickly or efficiently 3) detergent drawer seems to have a locking mechanism I'm not used to (machine must be turned on before it will disengage). Very nice looking a does a great job, even on rugs.

Broke 3 times in 2 months within first year!

We purchased a Whirlpool washing machine in March of 2025 and it broke, at no fault of our own, on January 1, 2026, less than a year after purchase. The repair technician contracted by Whirlpool came out on January 5, 2026 and stated the control panel broke and would need to be replaced. The Sexiest Washer Ever

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I know that's a weird way to describe a washing machine but seriously, this is the sexiest washing machine I have ever seen. It's gorgeous. I've never been so excited to do laundry. Oh, and it cleans my clothes really well!

Seems to work well, and uses little electricity

Being 5 cu ft it is better than the one it replaced for large flannel sheets. It has a Drum Dry cycle that takes FOUR HOURS - for real. All it does is run the "basket" back and forth and runs a fan. The inside of the door seal was still wet when it finished. Seems a total waste. As is the user manual. It isn't even...

Broken from day 1

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am extremely disappointed in this washing machine. Did not work properly from day 1. The entire cycle system changes from what you select to whatever random mode it chooses. Whirlpool has been less than helpful and the contract repair person cannot fix it and won't return calls. When I call Whirlpool they just refer me back. This machine is less than 2 months old. Complete waste of money.

Wonderful washer

We have had this one for several months and it has not let us down. Easy to use and gets the stains and soil out! Hopefully, this one will last 16 years too!
