Wonderful value for the money

This dishwasher is exactly what I needed! It was a replacement for a twenty-year-old model and I find that it has very good capacity, is set up conveniently for loading and unloading, has above-average space for dishes and does a wonderful job with cleaning. I don't have to rinse the dishes completely and everything comes out very clean. After many months of research to find a reasonably priced dishwasher, we picked this one. Rated as a best buy by a leading consumer magazine, it has lived up to their ratings. Very Nice Dishwasher

This dishwasher takes a while to complete a load and is louder than I expected, but it cleans my dishes really well. I do not have to rinse the dishes off before I wash them. There are settings for heavy loads and pots and pans as well as normal and light loads. I would purchase this dishwasher again.

Very Disappointed

CONS:Have owned less than 8 mo. and it does not clean the dishes. We thoroughly rinse and scrape the dishes before-hand and it still doesn't help. It is only the two of us, and my wife cooks one meal a day, so the DW is loaded to about half its capacity. Nice oven but can't be cleaned.

The lower door has openings to allow to air to escape. Unfortunately, this also allows spills to enter between the glass panes on the door. After three months the door looks filthy. I contacted Whirlpool regarding how to clean this and I was advised that I needed to have a service tech come out to clean my door. Leaks :(

We bought this on Black Friday and have enjoyed having a new dishwasher. That is, until it started leaking around the bottom of the door, then around the motor. After spending several thousand dollars (at Lowe's) remodeling our kitchen, the last thing we need is a water leak. I called the service center and they are coming to look at it. we are very disappointed in this dishwasher. it will not completely dry the pots and pans with the heat dry option turned on - why have the option if you are going to have to towel dry when unloading? the silverware holder is poorly placed. it is at the front of the lower basket. it is not located in the basket but instead rests on the outside. the holder is not physically attached to the lower basket so it will easy fall off the lower basket when pulling out the lower rack (if you grab it by mi...
