This DU1055 XTVS dishwasher is quite loud at 55 decibels. After only a few years, many of the prongs on both the top and bottom racks have rusted and broken off. New replacement racks will cost more than a brand new dishwasher! And they must be assembled as well. The silverware basket is removable for easy unloading, however, it very clumsy to attach back to the lower rack and constantly falls off because two very small pieces of plastic are supposed to hold it in place. It cleans very good for the past 6 years later

Pros: cleans dishes like it did when I first bought it... Excellent. Lots of features. No maintenance problems. Nice exterior. Lives up to expectations. Removable silverware basket. Cons: Noisy but rather have the grinder than not. Dish carts showing weak prongs and starting to break off in places. Hard to load dishes at first compared to my older model but I got use to it. Flatware basket not roomy and can be a pain to load.

Cleans well & no problems after 6 yrs in rent house

I installed this dishwasher in my rent house in 2010 and it is still going strong. Tenants have all liked it and I'm happy it's been repair free. This week the door began to leak on one side during pots & pans cycle. Turns out the new tenant dropped a heavy knife on that side causing a slit in the gasket. Not the dishwasher's fault!

Great Oven

I love the 1.5 oven feature! This oven in particular has some nice features I love like the convection and the super speed preheat!

Adequate but Loud

This was the dishwasher the builder included with our house when we bought it 3 1/2 years ago. It's adequate. It cleans dishes pretty well, except for the really stuck on stuff but we're constantly having to rewash flatware because it didn't get clean in the rack. My biggest problem is that it's LOUD. I've got an open concept first floor and I always have to crank up the TV volume while it's running. It was ok as a starter dishwasher but I'm ready to upgrade to something quieter and more energy ...

No rinsing required. Love the delay feature. I can fill it to the brim and the dishes come out shining.

Good product

This dishwasher came with our house, which was built 4 years ago. It is great at removing most food and drink particles. In the past couple of months it has started to have problems though. It stops before they cycle has completed so it is left with water in the bottom. According to the repair man this is due to the control board needs to be replaced.

Love the double oven

We bought this a year ago. My hubby did alot of research into what we wanted in a range. There is only the 2 of us so the small upper oven comes in very handy. On the holidays it's great because I have room to use both ovens. The stovetopss have different heat settings and they can boil water for pasta really quickly. The stovetop is a little difficul to keep shiny.

whirlpool failure to satisfy

after less than two years of use, i replaced both circuit board and soap dispenser. i still need to replace friction pad which keeps door from coming up when one wants to load or empty the machine.

Dependable Dryer

I bought this appliance used from a one-time owner. It works veery well and I am happy with it.

A good mid-range dishwasher

I am pretty satisfied with my purchase! I can't really complain about anything in particular, but at the same time I'm not blow away by it either. It certainly isn't one of those super fancy dishwashers, it is a nice simple mid-range dishwasher that does what it suppose to. I am happy with it and it is great dishwasher for the money!

Not a good choice. No pros

Top range is difficult to keep clean and clean. The bottom oven is too low to the floor. Pans and food do not always fit the top oven because it has too small an opening.
