The additional step is convenient to reach the back of the top cabinet shelves and the grab bar proves an additional sense of security. The fold up design fits the space on the side of my refrigerator so the step stool is out of the way when not needed.

Would RecommendMy wife really likes this stool to use in her storage building. It's not quite as good as the one we bought to use in the house but it is convenient to use. The one thing we would improve would be to have larger (deeper) steps to make it feel a little more secure when using it to stand on and lift something overhead.
