Would RecommendThere is strong construction and an easy release for folding. I find it perfect for the tasks needed and reliable. I do question the marking regarding . . . first step is wide. That is ambiguous at best. Is not the first step the one at the bottom? And it's call the first step because it is used first. Better, unambiguous language would be, "Top step is wide." No ambiguity there is there.

Would Not RecommendIt's obviously a special purchase that's used as a loss leader. The one I have in my home is sturdier and made of heavier metal. That being said, I had just reprimanded my 10 year old grandson from climbing on the kitchen counters in order to make his breakfast.
