Would RecommendThe 26 is a game changer. My 22 has been covered since I got this one. The extra space you think you don’t need you do. I still use the same charcoal baskets I did with my 22 so I’m using the same amount of charcoal and it holds amazing temperatures. On an average weeknight cook I will get it started then close the top vent to barely open and it will sit there at 400 like nothing. works fine, but difficult to assemble.
I have used Weber grills for years. This one works as well as the others I have used, but was difficult to assemble because the sockets that hold the legs had weld slag inside which had to be ground out before I could attach the legs. as far as cooking goes, it is a fine grill.
