This item works as planned and relatively easy to install with a few available tools. I installed with new tubes that may have made it a bit easier. Unfortunately, in the process of installing I discovered the grease drip tray was very rusted and unfortunately Weber has discontinued this part for my 2014 Genesis 330SS grill. So, for the most part all my repairs are for nothing as grill won’t be useable without grease tray. Bummer, we love the grill.

Serviceability, full assembly replacement
Would RecommendInstructions and part were perfect. As I installed the new wires I was thinking perhaps only one part of the assembly had failed and most of what I was doing was not required to make the grill function. But on the other hand as long as replacement parts are available and the serviceability remains, I will never buy a new grill. I will be happy to replace complete assemblies periodically. After doing the maintenance and replacing this igniter kit, this 11 year old grill performs like new.

Worth the time and money
Would RecommendThe ingniter kit was just what I needed for my six year old grill. It now lights immediately. I tried everything to fix the old one but to no avail. This was reasonably easy to install, though the rusted nuts that hold the far ends of the burner tubes wouldn't turn, so I had to resort to other means to free the tubes.

Would RecommendEasy to follow written and pictorial instructions made the installation easy. I took the opportunity to deep clean our Genesis 330 while I had it partially disassembled.
