Replace with stainless
Would RecommendMy grill is 10 years old and the original grates were falling completely apart. I bought replacement stainless steel ones because they should not corrode . They fit perfectly.

HEAVY DUTY HIGH QUALITY GRATES
Would RecommendOn my porch the next day! I had completely ruined my grill by carelessly leaving a Tupperware on the grates over Thanksgiving, at a time when my kitchen oven was broken. I immediately ordered set of new grates and stainless flavorizer bars which arrived to my home the next day. My grill is almost 10 years old and now, through a careless mistake I can easily get another 10 years of service from my grill.

Stainless Steel?
I purchased these grates and just received them in the mail. Customer service from Weber was truly exceptional. However, I was a little disappointed with the product in which I received. Similar to another review that I read, my impression of stainless steel is non-ferrous which means a magnet should not stick to it. When I first opened the package I noticed that they were shiny. Nice, but expensive
Would RecommendNice grates - I hope they last for 10+ years given the price. They are a decently heavy gauge, so they retain a decent amount of heat for searing. I just can't get over how expensive they are - needing to replace these as well as the flavorizer bars, I wasn't about 1/3 of the way to the price of a new grill.
