What Customers Are Saying
The product is generally seen as a useful tool that can help save time and effort when painting, especially around edges, ceilings, and moldings. Many found it lightweight, easy to use, and effective at keeping paint where it's supposed to be. However, some felt the product was too flimsy and lacked the necessary sturdiness to maintain a straight, consistent line, with the material prone to bending or sagging. There were also a few reports of the product breaking or not working as intended. Overall, the reviews suggest the product can be helpful, but its quality and effectiveness may be inconsistent.

Not what I expected…
Would Not RecommendThis would have been better if it wasn’t so flimsy.

Great
Great to avoid messes and keep from spending time taping

Might be handy to have a friend help.
Would RecommendGreat for painting with a spray gun, but I used to have one with an adjustable handle, which this didn't have. So an extra hand could be good if you don't have experience with this and a spray gun at the same time.

High hopes, bad execution.
Would Not RecommendWeak blade so it flips down on the ends. Leaving edges paint line lower than the middle.

Don’t buy it
Would Not RecommendThis product is very flimsy it is not worth purchasing

Handy
Would RecommendOnly thing is wish the handle could be adjusted to different angles

This Paint guide is very flimsy.
Would Not RecommendVery flimsy it works well for the base mold but for ceiling painting it will get you into trouble.
Verified Purchaser
If the handle were able to move up and down and not just side to side it would be usable for myself.

Not for overhead use...
Would RecommendUnfortunately, there is no rigidity at the outer corners of the guide that meet the wall - so it droops when using overhead between a wall and ceiling. This prevents sharp, crisp lines - so I get to go back and touch-up the ceiling. I'm sure it's good for horizontal applications (trim and windows), and lower-level applications (chair moldings and baseboards), but would NOT recommend for overhead/ceiling applications. Save yourself some time, and use cardboard.
