What Customers Are Saying
The paint shield is generally effective at keeping paint off walls and woodwork, allowing for cleaner paint jobs. Many users found it helped them work faster and more efficiently. However, some felt the plastic shield was too flimsy and flexible, making it difficult to maintain a straight edge. Paint buildup on the shield also required frequent cleaning. The metal version of the shield appears to be a more durable option for some customers.

paint guide
Would Not RecommendA little flimsy but it will work for what it is intended to do. Just take your time with it. The blade could of been made out of some harder material.

Would RecommendPerfect for painting all the trim on the exterior of my house. Will be great for inside too. Very easy clean up.

Well worth the money
Would RecommendUsed it while painting the window trim. It could have been a bit more ridged. Every time the bottom wouldn’t be flush with the wall and I’d get some overspray. Otherwise I love it and saved a lot of time.

Paint guide
Would RecommendThis actually rotates to how you want it to and you can tighten the screw so that it stays in place. Very helpful in the areas we were painting. Would recommend for others to purchase when painting.

Compared to the metal one.
Comparing it to the metal one, this is a great buy. It seems to have more durability, the metal one has zero flexability.

Trim made easy
Would RecommendJust painted my 2000 sq ft house with aluminum overhang/eaves. The 24 inch trim shield slid in between the stucco and overhang to allow a perfect line of color everywhere.

This shield works well within its design. Is really good for a quick grab when working in roomy areas.

Not a bad idea but doesn't work well on textured walls or ceilings would work great for smooth surfaces

Worked.....
Would RecommendI used this product to do some edge painting on my deck. It worked well, just have to make sure if any extra paint is on it to wipe it off before moving to the next area.

Great tool!
Would RecommendEasy to use. The only issue I had with it was the ends tend to sag, causing the shield to droop at the ends. I used the shield to protect the shingles while painting the soffits. At times it was difficult to reposition the shield due to the drooping of the ends. Overall, it performed well and I would recommend using this shield if you are spraying.

Wish I had these months ago
Would RecommendI bought this to clean up a few spots where the kids had gotten a little reckless painting the walls in the den and got wall paint on the popcorn ceiling. It blocked the white primer I used to cover it fine. I had to put a new popcorn ceiling up in the bathroom at my fathers house about a month ago. When I did, it got all over the walls while I rolled it up there. This would have saved me tons of cleanup. I tried using one of the shorter ones, and it's fine for working with a brush, but with a s...
