What Customers Are Saying
The deep fryer performs well, cooking food evenly and maintaining consistent temperature for crispy, delicious results. Customers appreciate the large capacity, allowing them to cook larger quantities. However, some users have experienced issues with the thermostat malfunctioning or the oil temperature exceeding the set temperature. A few found the fryer difficult to clean and the exterior becoming too hot to handle. Would RecommendMy husband bought this for me as a Christmas gift...I'm so happy he did. My family loves French Fries, Empanadas, and Chicken Wings. This product enables me to get a great fry on these types of food. A Happy Family makes for a Happy Home!

The fryer material is flimsy and has sharp edges.
Would Not RecommendI bought the fryer about 1 month ago and am not really happy with it.

Works for me, after I fixed it
Would RecommendBought this fryer in Dec 2018. Have been using it this last month several times. The magnetic plug is a disaster, falls off if you touch it. Since there is no on/off switch it is necessary to unplug the unit, plug falls off. Mine will not fall off again! I am sure the issues with under temp and resets are the direct result of gov't (CPSC) meddling with the magnetic cord regulations "for our own good", just need to be careful. Other than that, love the machine. It could be deeper but all in...

Excellent Product !
Would RecommendI am very satisfied with my Cuisinart deep fryer because it works just as it was designed to do. Temperature control and timer works perfectly. The deep fryer I replaced made by another manufacturer with a max temperature setting of 375* F would only heat to 240*F. The Cuisinart 4 Quart Deep Fryer is a good quality product!

Just right for a home fryer
Would RecommendWe are two seniors and cook small meals at home. This unit does a better job than the black skillet I normally use. The temperature control is fairly accurate. The 375 degree setting heated the oil to about 360, which is good enough for fish, pork chops, and french fries. I also used 325 for fried shrimp. All good.

Reset keeps blowing.
Would Not RecommendI've used maybe 5 times, reset keeps blowing before 350 degrees is reached and can't use again until unit cools down completely. I've had unit replaced under warranty, we'll see how long this one last.

That Deep Fryer!
Would Not RecommendI bought this deep fryer 3 months ago and it isn’t working. This is actually my second one because I thought this company had a good reputation. I have bought other things by this company and they all lasted but for some reason the deep fryer is a NO. In the middle of frying chicken I heard a pop and then the temperature started to go down leaving my fried chicken undone and needing me to find ways to finish cooking it.

Mini Professional
Would RecommendGreat deep fryer. This is like a mini Professional unit. It replaced one that I thought worked pretty good, but after using the Cuisinart...zero comparison. Everything comes apart so cleaning is simple.

Fryer fryes.
Would Not RecommendI like the fryer and have used it several times. This was a upgrade for us as we had a smaller one for several years, which up passed on to a grandson. One of the features that attracted me about this fryer was the timer. The first unit I received had a faulty timer. (when set to less than 5 min. I would run for 2 min. and stop, no chime) It was exchanged. Same problem with the new unit. Good fryer forget the timer.

A Great Personal Fryer!
Would RecommendHave been using this unit to prepare corn dogs, krinkle-cut fries, tater-tots and even deep-fried tofu. The unit does a great job at preparing small quantities. I use corn oil that has a smoke temperature of 440°F and it does a good job. I buy a one-gallon jug of oil at the grocery store and that fills the reservoir just to the MAX fill line. The oil comes up to temperature fairly quickly, and maintains temperature when running multiple batches. (Note that I let the frozen products defr...

Did not like would not buy
Would Not RecommendThe unit is hard to clean and exterior becomes too hot to handle

Just the right size.
Would RecommendIt certainly doesn't take the amount of out a turkey fryer does, but it's certainly bigger that you average counter top fryer. It's actually big enough to make corn dogs, or chicken tenders, even onion rings. Without have to fry only one or two at a time. Just the right size for the kitchen.
