Not impressed

Good price for the features. I purchased it to stain a small deck and paint a room or two in the house. The deck .was my first priority I wanted to do the the areas next to the house first so I set the controls for the tightest pattern and lowest volume. I did a couple of quick test sprays on to an old piece of plywood to check the spray pattern. I moved to the deck and the first pull of the trigger was great. decent product for a home owner

The sprayer worked decently except it spattered the paint. I had to back roll the sprayed paint for it to look good. I have a larger sprayer and it coats perfectly. However it is much more powerful so that may be the reason, this product may simply not be strong enough to push paint fine enough for a smooth finish.

Works well for light duty

I initially had problems the first time I used it. I had after-spray and leakage. After taking it apart and cleaning it, it worked much better. When you get it out of the box, make sure everything is tight instead of assuming its good right out of the Box. It is my first paint sprayer but seems very handy for light duty use.

Thrilled

I have a stone foundation with some water problems and one of the things I did to correct it was purchase Behr Concrete and Masonry Water Proof Sealant. It is a bit thick, but applied the same way as paint. It was very slow going using a paintbrush, so I decided to try a paint sprayer. A craftsmen I know recommended Wagner. Bought one to spray a lattice wood fenced with redwood stain. This thing puts out paint! The trigger is wide enough for two of my big fingers, making it easier on your grip over time. It also is progressive: The further back you pull the more paint is sprayed. Cons: It has a small reservoir -- a bit more than a quart, so lots of down time removing and refilling it. Good product

Purchased this to spray my deck with "Rescue" paint, which recommended not to spray, with light thinning spray great. My only complaint is the weight of the sprayer with full load of paint. I had an older Wagner sprayer with cup and 10 ft pick hose from gallon can or 5 gal bucket, this unit would a 10 with ability to use a pick hose to save that weight of gun and cup, at 76 years, don't handle that much paint #9lbs.# all afternoon any more and having to stop and refill so often

After borrowing several neighbors sprayers that did not work, I broke down and bought this sprayer because it was a Wagner , with out much reading I operated the sprayer quite effectively , the clean up took a little longer than expected ,but I am very happy with this product

I had been interested in a sprayer that would draft from a 5 gallon bucket. I was unable to find the one I wanted and had a budget to work in. I purchased this item and figured this would get the job done. I was correct. This worked fine. I painted a 22x18 complete exterior garage. Disappointing

The paint comes out gloppy. I used the chart at Lowes to pick the sprayer based on the type of job, size, etc. On paper this looked good. I don't think the HVLP technology is good for latex paint. Paint came out in blobs. The opening on the spray tip is huge. Every time I pushed the trigger, there was an instant of paint going everywhere. It Works

I was surprised this sprayer did such a good job. I had to paint the inside of two closets and this did the job fast. I used it right out of the box with a heavy latex paint but did add 3 oz. of water to the 1.5 quart paint container. Well worth the money.

Unbelievably BAD

I got this sprayer to do basic, interior paint work and wow what a total disaster. I'm your typical "Oh the negative reviews on here are just guys that don't have the skills I have" kind of thinker and I am humbled by the accuracy of those that came on here before me to warn me off. After using this for our living room I can't help but think, why on earth have I not bought a sprayer before? This makes painting a breeze and is more convenient than using a roller and brush. This is an absolutely dreadful product. I read some reviews online (including this site) before I purchased this sprayer that mentioned it had a tendency to splatter. Makes a great fog machine

Worst paint sprayer ever. My friend was helping me paint, and he has a lot of experience painting. He followed the directions to the letter, used proper spraying technique and in the end, the walls look like a child painted them. After painting a small section of the wall in a 13x13 room, we couldn't see the door from the far wall through the fog of paint in the air. When you release the trigger, paint profusely drips out of the end. Did any of the engineers at Wagner bother testing this thing?

I have never taken the time to write a review on a product.

I read reviews on products often but never give one of my own. However I wanted to take a minute to say I was very disappointed in this. Splatter was crazy and even after videos and trouble shooting nothing made it better. I hate to return things to stores I'm not that person so I'm just stuck with it. Not worth the money at all.

Very Dissapointing

I had bought this sprayer in the hopes of efficiently painting my new home and rental property. I followed directions and began the painting. I found that the spray pattern wasn't adjusting well and could only get a 3-4inch swath width. I adjusted again with no luck. I checked paint specs and noted it didn't recommend any thinning.
