Thin your latex for smoother fin

What I liked it was quieter than my last Wagner sprayer from 2007 and was easy to set up. I used exterior latex paint on metal and the finish was not as smooth as I thought it would be. I think you would have to thin the paint a lot to get a very smooth finish but it is latex paint not enamel. I was getting some spittting after some time so you just have to clean it every so often. Not great for cabinets

I gave this one star because the sprayer does not come close to doing what it's advertised to do, at least for painting kitchen cabinets. I came very close to returning it. The i Spray nozzle is worse than useless for anything requiring a smooth finish with latex paint. I followed all the recommendations in the manual, and experimented with various other settings, but still got massive splatter from the sprayer. It ruined the finish with lots of rough "orange peel." Got a dud?

I don't know if I got a bad sprayer or what, but this thing barely works. I read the manual and was very disappointed so watched a couple videos and I am confident I've got it put together right and it barely sprays and is very inconsistent. I just spent 45 minutes attempting to spray and got about 9 square feet done. I was really hopeful this could be a time saver but I could have had the whole room rolled by now.

Disaster

I opened the box and was impressed with the overall appearance and weight of this paint sprayer. I was excited to get started with my new tool. After filling the container-easy, no issues-, I began to spray. I was shocked and surprised when it felt like the paint sprayer back fired, much like a handgun. Cut your time staining a deck

I bought this to stain the deck on our lake house. It took me a few minutes to adjust the spray pattern, but once I did....look out. The deck took 1/4 the time it would have taken using a roller and a paint brush. I was very pleased with the quality and the ease of cleaning.

its all lies

Ok. So here goes. Got thus for a full interior painting. Ceilings and walls. Well. Nearly useless for ceilings. There is a major flaw in that the tip clogs VERY easily. And when paijting ceilings it is hit and miss. Took half a day to paint one room. Kept clogging. There is no way to properly clear the tip without taking the tip apart. And you MUST unscrew the tub first or pressure will force paint jnto the gun. Eventually burnjng out the motor. First motor burned out after 1 1/2 rooms. An...

It may be easier to use a roller

It’s heavy and slow. I think the worst part is how fast the cup runs out of paint. It only takes 5 minutes and it’s empty. I get that if it held more it would be too heavy for some to hold but it cancels itself out. Better off to buy an airless sprayer where you only hold the sprayer with the hose.

Great for small jobs like cabinets

So far so good, painted two unfinished utility wood cabinets, two coats worked well, cleanup relatively easy , for small jobs perfect but for larger outside jobs prefer the larger Wagner with hose u can put in 5 gallon paint bucket
