Did not spray stainer evenly and very loud. Tried returning or exchanging and Lowe's customer service associate stated it was past return policy and did not offer even an exchange after telling him it did not spray my stainer correctly. Had to go back and use brush to even stain on wooden fence. Very dissatisfied.

Misleading Product Title

Title of product says HVLP PAINT sprayer (compatible with stains). Which means it's a sprayer for paint that can be used with stains. Title should said HVLP STAIN sprayer. Very misleading.

Messy and Inconsistent

I've never used a paint sprayer before so I read all the instructions, watched videos, etc. Bought the bag inserts to help with cleanup. Despite all this, the product was incredibly messy to cleanup. The spray wasn't as widespread as I needed it to be, probably should have purchased a different product. I had this a few weeks before I had an opportunity to use it. Lowes didn't allow a return.

Highly disappointed

I purchased this sprayer used it one time, and it wouldnf work again, lowes will not rake back if opened so they gave me company contact number, called the company and they do not stand behind their product they refused to do any thing to make it right

Easy to use .. easy to clean up .. well worth the $70 even if I use it once to stain our 21x7 porch and railings

Was this a mistake?

I searched Paint Sprayers on Lowe's.com, this came up, it says "Paint Sprayer" in the description. Now the site for this product says Paint is not recommended. I assume I will have to spend my time returning this to a store.

Great for Varnish

Purchased to seal some bookshelves, works great with polyurethane with or without mineral spirits. The time saved from the hassle of brushing is worth it. Do get the bag liners. I'm a cheapskate and am reusing them within a single project, one bag for poly and one for paint thinner to clean after each layer, closed with painters tape while the poly dries. Even if the thing breaks after the bookshelves are done it was worth it, and if it doesn't I'll see how it handles paint. 10/10 would buy agai...

Stopped working

I just brought this last week and already it had stopped working.

So much easier

I'm fairly inexperienced and was working on coating a new wood fence with clear finisher. It would have taken me 15+ hours easily without this. I worked for 3 hours one evening and made minimal progress to went to Lowes the next day to pick up this. I finished the rest of the fence in an hour and a half. Easy to use, fast, sprays well. It does get hot after about 30 min of use so I needed to keep giving it breaks. And the plug in cord is short so make sure you have an extension cord.
