Waste of time and money

We bought this paint sprayer thinking it would make staining our fence quicker and easier. We had already done the outside half by hand and with as much fence as we've got, it's a lot of work. So we bought this to make the rest go well. I watched all their videos and some DIY'ers videos too. I felt like this would be a good tool, and had other projects planned. WRONG. Buy it!

I picked one up because i was tired of all the time brushing takes. Just sprayed a toddler bed with a ton of slats and it worked great. I didnt even have to thin the latex paint more than 2%. Very happy with it clean up was eazy. Treat yourself

total junk. save your $.

AFter reading several reviews and researching youtube on this sorayer i decided to try it. Although the concept is great the performance of this thing is absolute junk. This thing Spitse more than a cowboy chewing tobacco. You spend more time taking it apart to clean it to try to correct the paint spitting then you actually do painting. Save your money by a roller and use that. Will you use more paint with a roller? Yes but it is well worth it because he will save so much time.

Absolute garbage

I was looking forward to using this on my boat project. From the very outset, all it did was spit out specks of paint. No matter how I adjusted the flow rate or output, very little came out in a messy speckled pattern. Then, when I opened up the nozzle area to see what was going on, great gobs of paint poured out. Thanks, Wagner, for wasting my time and leaving a mess in my yard. I'll be returning this sad excuse of a paint sprayer ASAP.

saved me so much time

I used this to paint an entire basement and the amount of time it saved me was incredible! clean up was a breeze too!

Great for trim and doors

We had to paint a whole house worth of doors. We tried hand brushing and it took an hour to do one coat and by 3 it still looked horrible with brush strokes so we bought a paint sprayer. Problems

Used once, worked great with Thompson Water Sealant while doing my fence, this was this weekend same day I bought it. Three days later I decided to do the pergola and 10 minutes into the job it stopped working. Went to take it back to Lowes and couldn't get it replaced or refunded. Had to call Wagner now needing to respond to an email. So to be continued...

once you learn how to use it you can do a lot of work this gun. I'm very happy with the purchase and I'll be using it for many projects.

mades water sealing a fence a breeze

We opted for a hand pump to stain a fence with Thompsons water seal. That proved to be a mess. We opted to buy this painter knowing we can paint the shed as well. This gun sprayed the water seal with a stain in it and make took all the guess work and effort out of doing this with a roller or paint brush. we put three gallons of water sealer through it so far with no side effects. We will put 5 more gallons through it to complete the job.

I read all the reviews and decided to try it. Read all the directions, watched all the videos, and decided to give it a try. Well, can you say gale force winds? Just with powering it on it blew all the plastic under my project up. Then once I started spraying it instantly started building up paint on the nozzle as it the constant wind was drying up as soon as it sprayed out leaving paint built up in a tube shape on the tip. Painted cabinets

Better than expected! This sprayer made painting my cabinets a breeze. I highly recommend this product.

Misleading Description of Capabilities

This sprayer is not suited for ceilings or large projects. The description claims that it works for ceilings and latex paint but I've found that both seem to exceed the capabilities of this item. I've put about 4 or 5 or on the sprayer and it's now oozing paint when setup and not turned on. Probably works fine on small projects or thinner paints, etc., but my experience with it has been pretty awful. Time saver

This sprayer saved me so much time. The pattern was spot on perfect and cleanup was a breeze. I’ve used other sprayers, but this ones THE ONE.

Best sprayer

Are you looking to cut your job time in half? Well you’re selecting the best sprayer for that. This sprayer pretty much did all the work for me, all I had to do was guide it. Wife wants me to pour spray tan stuff in it and open my own spray tan business as well.

Exterior painting

Manual said not to thin the paint until you try it first. Works better than anticipated. Very powerful. Did not need to thin exterior paint. Some overspray.

Paint sprayer

You have to water down the paint to get it to spray and it sprays very slowly.

Used it to seal my fence using Thompson’s water seal and it worked great! Really even spray pattern

Time saver!!

Used sprayer to apply semi transparent stain to a split rail fence...lots of it! Worked great, saved a ton of time!
