Razor blade sharp
I needed a serrated sharp knife, the original one with the knife block became dull after 25 years and I could no longer sharpen it. This new one works like a dream on everything I need to cut. The handle is comfortable and the knife is the perfect length for minor kitchen slicing.

Awesome Bread Knife!
Wow, is the Classic 5" Serrated Utility Knife ever worth the price! It is super sharp & slices through bread with ease. We have another bread knife - about 10 years old - that came in a set of Wusthof knives & that blade is much longer. It is suitable for large round, sourdough loaves, but I prefer this 5" blade for slicing through a standard loaf. It is definitely a cut above the set of knives we have. Should I need to replace any of the existing set, I would buy the more expensive Classic styl...

Great Knife
We just replaced this knife, courtesy of Wusthof's warranty, after 17 years of use. The blade was still in perfect condition, just the handle needed replacing. What quality! It's handy to have a serrated knife around the kitchen for a bagel, a lemon, etc. It works well for carving pumpkins too! You can't beat the quality of Wusthof, and I would recommend the Classic series knives. Hand-washing is a good idea, but no problem putting them in the dishwasher when needed.
