I have multiple Worx tools and love them all. This one is no different. It is easy to assemble and use. I love the battery powered vs cord. Easy to use and works as well as a corded product.

Messy blade changes and storage.

Light weight, battery lasted long enough. Blades easy enough to change, but very messy due to large glop of exposed grease on each one. Doesn't quite cut as large a diameter as claimed.

Don’t Waste Your Money

Purchased this combo set earlier this year and attempted to use it yesterday. The motor unit didn’t provide enough energy for the grass shear blade to cut through dead ornamental grass. The included hedge trimmer attachment was also useless for the application. At this price point plus the money sunk into two batteries, it’s an incredibly incapable hand tool. Strongly advise choosing a mainstream brand, e.g., Makita.

A good size for my projects. Love that it is rechargeable and I don’t have to worry about a cord being in the way when using.

Excessive vibration

Straight out of the box this 8" trimmer vibrated excessively. It didn't do a bad job cutting leaves on my decorative plant, (with less than 1/8" stems), but I can't do precise trimming due to the up and down vibration. l am very disappointed with this tool because it was so light and well balanced.

Battery hedge clipper

I liked the fact that I could buy the tool without having to buy the battery. I have the weed whip that uses the same battery. Lowe’s was the only store that I could buy just the tool. Thanks!

Handy tool

Very lightweight and nicely balanced. Both blades trim nicely on light duty things like grass, deadheading my flowering shrubs like salvias and catmint. Do not expect it to cut back bushes more than the tips, it isn’t made for that. I hope the blades last/stay sharp for a long time. Blades are very easy to change, but can be messy due to the grease at the gear. This is a nice little tool for light duty maintenance and easy on my arthritic hands. I just bought the 4” shear and 8”shrubber, along with the 20” hedge trimmer. They all are amazing pieces of equipment. The shear was perfect for the grassy plants that I have and the trimmers were awesome on my hedges! I had been using an electric trimmer for the last few years. That one went to recycle last week! All of my outdoor power equipment is now WORX. I had other “name brand” equipment in the past, but nothing held up like my WORX! I will now have WORX tools as long as they will have me...
