Would RecommendPurchased this as a replacement for a broken snow rake handle. The bamboo handle feels sturdy and is well finished. The threaded metal end looks like pot metal but is pretty thick. This is the part that failed on the pole I'm replacing. There is a hole provided to insert a set screw but drill out a pilot hole in the bamboo first or it'll likely crack.

Would RecommendI bought this pole while installing new carpet, after a more expensive one broke paintung subfloors for the carpet. It held up great, and did the job. it doesnt have the frills other paint poles have, but if you want a sturdy, easy to use paint pole this one is for you.
