It is what it is, sometimes they work some time they don’t, which is none of the manufacturers fault. But in terms of a body trap, this is the ones I’d go for

My husband likes the OLD traps without that fake cheese slice but can't seem to find them. Hoping this works in our shop and garage. One did not have the hook to set the trap but my husband fixed with an old trap we had. Wasn't making the 1/2 hour trip back to the store.

Cheap and Best

it was Cheap and did the work. the only down side is, u need to use gloves to set the trap back.

The Victor wide pedal mouse trap took care of the pesky mouse we had in our closet. It was very easy to set and the new plastic trigger plate did its job. This product design is much better than the old style traps.

I don’t understand why the design of the mouse trap was changed. Having the large yellow plastic piece on the trap is ridiculous and zero mice were caught. I believe I could hear them laughing at the trap!

First time buying and using this product. Bought this for the late fall/early winter as the mice were finding their way into the house. Set-up takes some getting used to but definitely did this job VERY well.

Didn't catch mouse

The wide pedal design is definitely a plus and makes it easier to trigger compared to smaller traditional traps. When it works, it works well and gets the job done quickly. That said, the build quality feels a bit flimsy for the price, and a couple of the traps didn’t reset smoothly after being triggered. I also had one snap without catching anything, which was frustrating. Overall, they’re decent and better than basic cheap traps, but I expected more consistency and durability. Not bad, just no...
