On the other hand, I have on several occasions witnessed a mouse walk directly over the bait trigger on the way into a gap in the baseboard with impunity. I'm probably going back to another brand that I've successfully used in the past.

Would RecommendThe Victor Mouse Trap was impressive! It is very well made and a big improvement over the old wooden type. Be very careful when setting it because it doesn't take much pressure to trigger it! Unfortunately, the mice I had in my shed may have vacated. The bait is still in the trap but none of the three traps have sprung.
