I was wrong

If I could delete my first review I would. I simply cut the stake/post portion half and got them installed in the yard. It took a few days, but 4 of these have chased the mole all the way around to the side of the house. I'm going to buy 4 more and that will do it. At first, I thought these were a joke. Got them installed, gave it a few days and the moles HATE them. They are gone!!!

Zero Star If I Could

I bought this a year and a half ago. It seemed to work at the beginning. Boy, was I wrong! Moles were present again quickly while the sonic spike kept beeping. They dug tunnels right around the sonic spike in the front yard and back. I killed two moles 10 feet from the sonic spike. What a waste of money, time, and battery!

Can't get them installed

Ground is too hard. Actually bought a drill bit, because Lowes had no auger bits in stock. The ground is too hard from the drought. They have to be in a place with total sunlight, which means they'll need to go in the driest, hardest dirt you have. Judging by the rest of the reviews, they wouldn't have worked anyway.

Will take a couple of weeks or more to see results

You know it is working when your dog goes to inspect something new in yard and jump back from it

Working good at this time.

Two things. Buy good quality batteries and use a metal rod or shaft to make hole deep enough for stake insertion.

These will get rid of your moles.

I bought two of these last year because moles were ruining my yard. They did the job. I bought two more this year. Last year’s are still working after a full year.

There appears no substitute for using traps.

Installed 2 units. One seems to keep activity in check, the other has several new piles within 20 Ft.

It seems to have worked

A neighbor recommended these for a groundhog that has been living on our properties for a very long time. I was of course skeptical, but willing to try them. As I approached the entrance on my property, I scared it back into it's hole. I placed the spikes in the ground near the hole, and setup a camera to watch. About an hour later, it came out and investigated them. It did not seem to be happy about the disturbance and tried to dig it up. I guess it kept going off and finally scared it away. I ...

purchased 2 weeks ago and it's actually made things worse. Will be returning this product to the store for a refund.

It works!

The batteries are easy to install & the device is easy to put into the ground. It took about 7 days to completely rid a large area of moles, (which is stated on the package), but they have not returned! I'm very pleased!
