Flat out failure

Do not repel rodents at all. The ground hog sitting in my yard chomping on foliage proves it, along with the burrow holes .

Rid lawn of Gophers

I purchased this product 3 weeks ago and placed one in the ground. As of 1 week ago I have no new mounds. Very pleased with this product. The price was well worth it.

Save your money!

Doesn't work at all! We bought 10 of these and the gophers just dig all around them. All they serve to do is put out a small irritating beep every few seconds. Don't bother with these. They don't worl!

Moles were happily operating 20 feet away from it.

I bought the spike that had the solar mini-panel on it so that I wouldn't have to spring for batteries. I drove a wooden stake into the ground to make the insertion hole, turned on the spike and slipped it into the ground. It was a slightly snug fit and i had to rotate the spike back and forth in order to get it fully inserted. The spike rotated with little effort. The insertion spot was sunny for about half of the day. A month after insertion, mole tunnels were being made just 20 feet away fr...

Not Impressed so far

I bought two. So far after more than a week I am still seeing signs of mole tunnels. One of them has stopped working, probably needs new batteries all ready.

Cheated

Does not work. A day after I’d planted spike two new mole mount appeared, within four days seven new mounts showed up. Would not recommend this mole spike to anyone just wasting your money. If I could I would return item for my money back.

Do not waste your money!

I was on the fence because some reviews were good, so I thought we'd give it a try... the moles burrowed right towards it.

Did not even phase them

Used all summer. Did absolutely NOTHING to deter the moles for me. One positive: batteries lasted all summer. But overall cannot recommend.

May work, but very noisy.

This device may work to chase away moles and gophers, but we'll never know... It is very loud and the annoying, grating buzz is way easy to hear from inside the house. Returned the product.

Don't waste your time

Big waste of money, one of them bent just putting it in the ground. That was after digging the pilot hole first. Would never buy this product again

Gophers don't care

I've had the solar version in the ground for 2 ½ weeks. Moles have been digging within 5-6 ft of it. This morning I watched as a gopher dug a mound within a few ft of it. It doesn't seem to bother them. My dog digs up the hole and the pests just move a few ft farther.

Gophers gone!

I have used sprays traps and baits. Trapping being labor intensive and damaging the lawn but for the most part successful. But there have been the extremely hard to catch gophers. I installed the Victor product and they are gone. Great product and an improvement over their previous model.

Mole repeller

Used this product for 3 months with no impact on moles in yard.

No more moles!

Mole moved into neighbors yard and keeps moving further down the street ever since I installed. Even though this isn't solar powered, I am still happy with this project. Would recommend.

More mole mounds

I installed 4 of these in a small yard (overkill) and at first I thought it was working good. A few days after they were installed we got a bunch more mile hole mounds and the spikes are still operating.

Hard to get in the ground

They are to big and needed to make a hole and bury them in. Two days later the moles made holes only 1 ft from the sonic spike.

Victor M9012 2 Mole and vole repellent

Complete waste of time and money. There were mole tunnels leading straight toward the device. The implementation procedures were followed as directed and it started to "ping" as soon as I put the batteries in. It just doesn't work.
