Would RecommendThis ice melt product works exceptionally well. It is a large granular salt product that melts the ice very well, and you don't need a lot of it. However, the large granules do not all dissolve in the snow, so it leaves behind a lot of crusty chunks and white salt residue. It will make your driveway turn white with salt residue and keep working all winter. You will need to wait for a heavy rain to wash it all away.

Would RecommendI know it sounds silly, but the bag cut straight and smooth. I always have trouble cutting open bags because they rip or stretch. The pellets started working on contact. When it landed on the patch of ice things started to pop and crack immediately at 20 degrees.
