Great White Spray Primer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Valspar Flat White Spray Primer is one of the best primer I've ever used. Bonds quickly to projects and has stain blocking too. Highly recommended for those unfinished projects you have around the house!

Great can of primer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice spray can of primer. It sprayed on smooth and evenly. Spray nozzle was easy to press and primer came out very nice. I used this on wood and I had no drips or runs. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a quick and easy primer in a spray can. Nice product form a reliable company.

Works as advertised

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so grateful for a primer that actually does what it says. I have a rain barrel that is bright blue plastic and was wanting to paint it the same color as our house. This primer stuck to the hard plastic surface perfectly and allowed me to finally get the eyesore blue barrel looking like it belongs with the house.

Primes Very Well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this on sheet metal for prep work in painting, I was very happy to discover its bond and ability to even the material out. I’ve since painted over this on various parts of the metal and the color is consistent across -there has not been any bleeding or variations due to metal condition below it (various states of sanded paint or bare metal). It has been remarkably consistent in evening out the material -it’s great!

Works very well!

It covered old blemishes well and created a nice, smooth surface as long as I help the fan close enough. That is key! If held to far away it tends to get gritty and will need to be sanded.

Great Coverage!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This can of primer covers nicely. It sprays smoothly and has great coverage. I used it to spray fan blades and stair rail spindles that I use for crafts. I only needed to apply one coat for them to be covered. This is a nice quality paint that covers well. I highly recommend.

Nice Even Spray

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this spray primer to prime a wooden table before I painted it. It worked well! The spray came out even, it fell into the cracks of the table well. Overall it went quicker than if I would have used a roller for the flat parts and small brush for corners, etc. This is coming from a do-it-yourselfer, not a professional.

Great priming

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I painted over a piece of plastic with this first I really didn't think it would hold, but it did, so spaying over this primer with another white gloss paint was great. I'm impressed I will shop this product more often for my arts and crafts

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a little apprehensive trying this Valspar Flat White Spray Primer on my bathroom cabinets after reading all the reviews. But because I did my research I also became aware of the do's and dont's of how to properly apply it. I sprayed fairly close as I read the paint can dry mid-air and leave clumps on the surface that would need to be sanded down after. And it worked well! I ended up with a nice flat surface with maybe a couple flecks he...

good brand of paint

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] we got this spray paint a few days ago to start a rennovation project on an old deask we found on the street. the paint is good quality and stuck to the desk really well. the quality was so good, it only took two coats over the whole desk to cover it up and make it look brand new.

Easy to use, quick to dry

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this a few months ago to touchup some spots around the house. Color was perfect, easy to use and quick to dry.

This is not needed with Rust-Oleum paint primer

I found when I did not under coat with this paint the spray on primer combination paint was smoother and work better with less fumes. Also, the paint primer began spraying out small particle like lumps. This required sanding after coating with the primer.

Gritty mess

Do not buy. Used it on a nightstand. Goes on super gritty. You will have to heavily sand off where white powder will be everywhere. Like chalk. Horrible and will cause you 2x the work.

Adheres very well

It adhered well on various surfaces and provided a great base for my can spray paint . example: on smooth, glass , outdoor planters

Worth the money

Easy to use, covers well and adheres to just about anything.
