The weather was quite warm so the stain dried fast enough for me to apply the second coat 30 minutes after I finished an area. Covers well, dries out pretty quickly and easy to clean up. Beautiful oil based seal and stain!

I used this oil based stain to both make it look beautiful AND seal the wood to protect it. It was very easy to use and did not run or drip much at all. Not semi-transparent

I know the containers states it’s for exterior but I had a shelf that i bought off a friend that didn’t match my decor colors and I really wanted to stain it. Great drying time

Valspar Quick seal exterior pecan oil based

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this free complimentary from Influenster and Valspar Quick seal exterior oil based stain pecan. It is very durable since it's oil based. The drying time will be when it's ready. The odor is a little not too strong.

Restores wood beautifully

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this on my stairs and fence. Easy application by roller and brush. Seems to be a very tough stain- resistant to weather. So far, so good. It was easy to apply and covered. This stuff is amazing. I have never stained wood before believe it or not, and I have no experience using a product like this before and I am thoroughly impressed with the outcome, works great, great sealer and stain, reasonable, recommended.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Seems concentrated. Lots of pigment. Goes on very dark, even when wiping excess immediately instead of waiting up to 5 minutes. If you don’t want the wood to absorb that much, I recommend using this brand’s pre-stain wood conditioner. Absorption likely depends on the wood, also. One of the 5 colors looked like a return. Lock clips were missing from top of can. That one came sealed in a plastic bag, and there were dried stains around the lid. Al...

Look nice on wood
