Good quality and easy to install

This unit replaced a 15+ year old magnetic transformer that ran outside landscaping lights and was no longer functioning. I was very pleased with the ease of installation. Had to re-strip the leads and plugged it into the unit rather than using twist-on connectors. Only issues is that the existing wiring is 8 gauge which did not fit easily into the clamp connectors on the unit. Otherwise, it was a simple installation. This is a great product. Easy to hook up and use. I would suggest that the ""COM"" line hook-up is clearly indicated that it is for the ""hot"" (""live"") wires.

Easy installation. Solid and very nice to view the settings without opening the unit. The settings should be lit.

Installation was simple and the transformer performs just fine feeding 14 lights about 100' from transformer on average. Did not need to use 15V receptacle.

This was a needed upgrade from my 100 watt transformer. I kept tripping my 100 watt from my addiction to landscape lighting. This solved all my issues and even increased the power of the lights. Wish I had bought this originally.

I like the Transformer, I just wished it had come with a stand as some of the other ones do. The stand brace with legs for in ground placement makes it easier to install. Maybe add a suggestion for the in ground brace would help customers add it to their cart, if they wish to buy one.

Great upgrade from smaller one

I bought this 300 wt transformer to replace a 100 wt. With 8 10 wt lights (inadequate) I can now use 20 wt.

Really Good

Replaced a Malibu transformer that came with our house. Running shorter line in 12v and longer line on 15v. Install was super easy. Timer controlled via Jandy pool board so no timer need on this transformer. The simple on/off toggle switch was all I needed. This unit is dead quiet when switching on and running unlike the Malibu, and our lights seem brighter now. Backyard looks great!

I'm utilizing this for low voltage lighting with hardscape walls, and flagstone walkway. Easy to setup and utilize, (electrical is housed within a stainless steel box) looks extremely durable, so it should last the crazy Texas weather. A little heavy if planning to mount to the wall, so I definitely recommend anchors, to provide a little bit more gripping/staying power. It's only been installed a week, so hopefully it stands the test of time and last for the duration of the lights installed.

Product itself is fine , however the timer I bought to go with it is not reliable when it is setup to shut off at timed durations. The only function that works is dusk to dawn.
