Stronger than regula velcro and more water resistant but after while seems to lose its adhesive effectiveness. Used it on a split but after about a week, i had to replace the side that was stuck to the splint as it had lost its adhesiveness. So far ive had to replace it twice in two weeks. Makes me wonder how good it will adhere to material outdoors through the difference climates. Probably not a permanent solution but can come in clutch when needed
