Don;t Waste Time or Money

This unit was a great disappointment. I knew $16 was a gamble, but thought it would be worth a try. Quit working completely only 4 months after installation, and was hit-or-miss whether it would work or not until then. 0 Star rating, if that was an available option.

I bought this doorbell and it always goes off on its own I thought I was going crazy or experiencing some paranormal activity. It goes off and no one is ever there thanks for sharing your experiences so I know I’m not crazy!

This is the second unit and they are junk

Issue is that it isn't reliable and require monitoring to make sure it keep working. When it fails you have to go through a reset process, which is unacceptable. The product is junk and I will be returning a second unit and buttons!

Two of them for years - one just failed

I've had two of these for probably close to seven years, if not a little longer. Aside from having to change batteries I've had no problems. Well, not "NO" problems. The upstairs dinger would stop working due to battery contact corrosion. The downstairs unit has never had that problem. Probably because the upstairs unit is nearly under the swamp cooler. So it may be due to excessive moisture that it failed. I've cleaned the contacts a number of times, but this last time it just won't work...

Piece of Rat Feces

This is the most money ive thrown down the drain. The thing rings 1 once if its a false alarm and 2 times if its POSSIBLY real. But then there is the times its not. I hate it im looking into getting ring or something similar. Dont buy!!!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY - THIS IS JUNK

Works. However you won't hear it unless you are sitting right next to it. Plus it also false trips at all times... wee hours of the morning.. Or it won't ring when FedEx or UPS has a signature required delivery (The reason for this in the first place)

I purchsed one of these wireless doorbells, Model WL-2B. I also purchased an additional doorbell button kit for our rear door. Very easy to install, the instructions were simple, and very concise. In less than an hour, the entire system was set into place. Remember, this is a wireless doorbell system. About fifteen minutes after my installation, the back door chime signalled. Junk

Unlike other reviews I've seen here for this product my unit actaully works. The only problem is that when the doorbell rings, there isn't anyone at the door! It just goes off for no reason. Now if I ever get someone at the door for real I'll probably ignore the door thinking it is another false alarm.

Don't buy!

Horrible product! Very cheap quality (door bell button comes with a sticker that will not hold it in place). Instructions are useless. The sound is terrible and it will not work properly even if you sync. Had to return it, got a Honeywell instead which sounds and works much better than this one.

quality and durability

Have to install doorbells at various remote locations for the Disabilities Act. Bought 4 to start. One was defective out of the package. Another one quit after a week. If more go out, I'm not sure how the return will be.

Wireless and WORTHLESS !

This unit,HEATH CO LLC model WL - 2B worked twice the day installed. Then never again. Why can they sell these things?

Battery Last Two Days

I bought this and it worked great – for a day or two. I replaced the battery in the push button thinking maybe the battery that came with the unit was a cheapo. Violal! Worked great again – for a day or two. Replaced battery again with same result. And again... (I'm a slow learner). Now I plan to go back to Lowe's and see if I can return it. Threw the receipt away the first time it started working again.

Didn't work

Purchased this awhile back and just now opened it to install batteries and couldn't get it to work. I've tried taking batteries out and reinstalling and still nothing. Purchased additional batteries thinking my batteries were no good and now $15 of batteries later still nothing. I had already thrown away the packaging so ordered a new doorbell online and it worked great. Disappointed.

doesn't work

when the button is pushed it may go off but then again it might not. if it does go off it sounds like a dying cat. don't waste your money get something better.

Junk

I could barely hear it from 2 feet away. My two Chinese Pugs, who always go crazy barking at the sound of any doorbell (real, on TV, etc.) just looked at me like "Really?". So that's a big thumbs down from my resident doorbell experts.

Do Not Buy!

Shame on me! I purchased this same doorbell about 6 months ago and same results, it doesn't work. Figured maybe I just got a bad unit last time (returned that one also) so I gave it another shot. I followed the directions and even tried to reboot this after replacing the battery that came with the button. Still no good. So I'm heading back to return this one too and buy a door knocker...what can go wrong with that?

Lasts about 1 year at most

How do you really know when it stops working? I am replacing it today, but it could have stopped working months ago! If you buy it, you need to test it weekly.
