Stay away
Would Not Recommendthis element is the second or third one purchased for the A0 Smith water heater that only lasted 9 months. I made the mistake of purchasing such a cheaply made water heater. although they warranted and replaced the water heater. this element is not the exact match from what originally comes with the heater. Stay away from this element as well as AO Smith water heaters.
