Would RecommendI own an older home that doesn’t have a wired doorbell so we use a battery one. It’s a bit of a pain switching out batteries so I bought this so I can install a wired version. I like that it comes with just about everything needed. Make sure you purchase wire too!

Would RecommendI originally bought this doorbell kit to go with a brand new Ring video doorbell that I bought. After I bought it, I realized that the Ring doorbell that I bought does not work with this particular model number, so I will have to return it. I’m sure it’s a fine product for somebody who just wants a chime with a standard doorbell kit, but it doesn’t work with my video doorbell. I also had to get a different Ring doorbell.
