If you need to extend house (120V) voltage 100ft, spend the extra money for 10AWG wire to minimize voltage drop and maximize the extended load.

This is just what we needed

Not allot of detail to a 10 gauge power cord but it will be useful for so many things protecting our power and electrical devices sms that's priceless.
