What Customers Are Saying
The LED motion-activated flood light has received mixed reviews. Many customers found it well-made, easy to install, and very bright, appreciating the motion sensor and manual override features. However, a significant number reported issues such as the sensor not working, lights flickering or strobing, and water leaking into the bulbs, leading to the light failing within a short period. Some also complained about the poor quality and durability not justifying the high price.

Would RecommendEasy install Super bright and love the motion sensor
NOT GOOD
Would Not RecommendBought 3 of these light at 60 dollars a piece put them in worked for 2 days then stopped working the sensors started to make a grinding noise lights acted like a strobe light then would not come back on going back to lowe's tomorrow to find something new.
Poor sensor performance
Would Not RecommendHave had this item in place for about 4 weeks and it has never worked properly. Tried every adjustment recommended by manufacturer. The motion sensor only activates on one extreme end of the 180 degree design standard. Will return item to Lowe's today.
Two lights failed
Would Not RecommendJust had my second light fail. I have the light eve mounted. After the first big rain the lights filled with water and when it would sense motion it would come on for a minute then flash every 3 seconds or so non stop. I returned it and got a second one. Looked up today after we've had some snow and melt. Lights are full of water again and will not turn on. This unit is eve mounted and not exposed to direct water yet it has filled twice. Regardlesss of mount, an outdoor light should be able ...
Very durable
Would RecommendI accidently dropped the light while installing it. It dropped about 8 feet onto my concrete driveway. After looking it over it appeared to be intact so I finished the install and to my surprise it works great. It is very bright and does as advertised. My only complaint are the control nobs are confusing and a bit too sensitive.
Fantastic,why all the negative reviews?
Would RecommendTook old light down, put new light up. Its that simple works great.
2 Week Life
Would Not RecommendNice looking light, easy install, but only lasted 2 weeks. Mounted under eave, not a lot of rain during this time, and no real reason for it to fail. The motion sensor seemed to work fine, and the dual lighting modes worked as well, but one day it just failed. Of course I threw out the box, so returning it isn't an option now. I guess I'm out $60 with a lesson learned. Just say no to this light, and Utilitech in general is my advice.

Good but can't adjust angles much
I own 12 of these and they work good. The first 4 I bought were very adjustable but then they changed the design and you can barely adjust the angle. Great value light. None have given me an issue.
BAD BAD BAD Product!!
Would Not RecommendBought these light on July 4th weekend last year from local Lowe's and they are not working six months later. I am a typical homeowner and installed them myself and they worked fine for 6 months. Not worth the prize, not worth the hassle.
Great light
Would RecommendI was sceptical about the led lights I'm more of a traditional flood light person but these lights are very bright and very white I am extremely satisfied with these and thinking about adding some on the other sides of my house.
LED outside motion light
Would RecommendEasy to install, bright light, good value for price.

Disappointment
Would Not RecommendI installed the light in August and it stopped working at the beginning of January with no warning: no flickering or other signs. I saw some reviews which noted the unit is not appropriate for cold weather..evidently they were correct. It was terrific while it worked but for only 4 months?
Nicely designed unit with Bright LEDs. Motion sensor works well. Missing daytime sensor and only wall mount.
Garbage
Would Not RecommendI bought two, six months ago, while completely rewiring a home. One still works but the other has failed. The motion sensor glows red when it senses motion but the two LED's will not illuminate. I have spoken with the technical department at Utilitech and they have concluded the light sensor has failed. It's under warranty but now I have to pay an electrician to remove the defective one and install a replacement.
Great for your needs,
Would RecommendPurchased 5 of these lights, and I installed within 20 minutes, the only downside is the light case that holds the electrical wires does not give you much room for additional to store the wires, in addition the lights does not have alot of flexiblity to move. Besides that its good lights and nice and bright...the 100 feet motion sensor is not realistic, more like 25 to 30 feet..I believe its worth it..for sure. best for wall install instead of the eave unless its a very high eave.
