Would RecommendI have switched outlets for my out side Christmas lights and sometimes forget to turn them on or off. This timer looked good and I bought it. The installation was easy. Seting the clock and ON/OFF times was easy also, exactly as the instructions stated. The timer turns them on and off at exactly the set times. The device is well made and has a clean design. NOTE: There must be a neutral wire in the switch box for this timer to work, which I had.

I gave it only four stars because it does not a a lock to prevent tampering with the on/off times. **Warning** On my instructions, the line and the load were reversed in the wiring diagram. Would Not RecommendFirst of all I am a construction guy and know my way around electrical equipment. I connected this as the instructions show and powered up and nothing. Wouldn't even turn on. Couldn't reset, nothing. My advice is don't waste your time with this brand.
