It was a direct replacement, as my old one was the exact same size and shape. There are two problems with it: One, the screws for it are bright silver while the case is black. Would Not RecommendJust not a good buy. Plastic housing tends to deteriorate over time. The button discolors rapidly in sunlight. Better to buy a unit with a metal housing.
