Three wire vs Four Wire cord
Would RecommendLowe's default installation package included a four prong cord. Our house has three prong outlets because it was built before 1996. I purchased this cord and the installer used it with no problem. In fact, instructions came with the LG dryer on how to wire both three and for wire cords into the dryer. I will return the four wire cord for credit. The Lowe's installer did a great job for us.
