Would Not RecommendThis lamp is too bright for most mood lighting aplications. The fact that it can not be dimmed lessens it's use even more. I bought the blue one and it's actually closer to Martin Pro's "Congo Blue" in their MAC moving lights. It has some UV properties which is hard on the eyes. Since it can not be dimmed, it's best used in a fixture where you can control the output. I'm thinking it might be nice in a PAR-38 can with a dimming gel. For 6 bucks im not going to return it as I'll find a perfe...
Yellow light for the bedroom.
Would RecommendThe bulb works great in the lamp on the bedside table. My plan is to reduce the number of bugs that somehow get into the bedroom. This bulb gives off enough soft yellow light for me to see by, but shouldn't attract many bugs.

Would RecommendBeen through a few green CFL bulbs, the porch light is on a motion sensor, so its on and off a lot... CFLs couldn’t keep up.. this LED is doing the job nicely, and showing our support for the deployed troops in the bargain. Will likely never buy another CFL.
