Takes F12 flourescent bulbs that can be replaced.

Finally, a real fluorescent light fixture for F12 bulbs, and not built-in permanent bulbs you can't replace. Buy this while you can, they are getting hard to find. I had two F12 40 Watt Plant and Aquarium bulbs I used with this, working great.

Junk. Also no switch.

Light comes on for 3 to 5 seconds, then goes off. Swapped bulbs with different lights; the problem is the fixture. I figured it's just a defective product but now I'm reading other peoples' reviews, and it seems about 1/3 of all the product are defective. So that's a pure junk product. Also, there's no pull-chain or other light switch.

Great purchase

I really like this shop light. It's light weight and easy to hang wherever I need it.

Ballast Killer

I built a pole building and installed 19 of these light fixtures. 5 years later the tube are like new. But the ballasts on 4 of the 19 went bad. Replacements aren't available. Thus the reason for the $12.98 price tag.

Destroyed during shipment

The lights fixtures were dented, bent in ways that can not be straighten. I tried to correct the damage but it is too much and look real bad. Your would think that they would try to package each fixtures better than what they were. They must be returned.

Easily converted for single ended LED bulbs

It only requires about 5 minutes of your time and a Philips screwdriver, wire cutter, and 4 wire nuts. you simply will NOT find a better price on such a well constructed light assembly ANYWHERE, EVER!

Poor choice

I bought 3 of these during the past year. I finally had everything installed and all didn't work, something will flash on and the then shut off others won't work for whatever. Don't buy these cheapies

Utilitech Linear 4ft Shop Light

Simple and easy to install fluorescent light fixture. Perfect for sheds, garages, or any area that needs good fluorescent lighting. Great product for the price.

Good price

These fixtures are priced well, they provide good lighting and are easy to install. (Make sure your outlet is grounded or you will get shocked!)

Too bad this is discontinued

THis is a great shop light. I have 5 of them. I had a real problem gettting this last one. It is probably the last available. This product is being discontinued. Now I will have to pay twice as much for a replacement light fixture and I have no idea if the T-12 fluorescent lights that work with it will be available in the future either. The question here is, Why is this being discontinued? It is exactly what I need and has been a reliable product for years in my shop.

Killed the bulbs

Nice price works but every bulb I put in it it is dead the next week, Will return I think it is the ballasts. dont buy.
