after one day when I press the off button there is a dim but very noticeable red glow coming from every led.

total inferior product

Like several Lowes inhouse brands, this one has no user support. The documentation stinks and there is no website to get more info. Mine broke on the first day I got it. When I try to turn it off, it goes to red. I tried unplugging and plugging back, but it still stuck on red. Another reviewer complained about the color accuracy. I agree. some colors are fine, but the "white" does have a blue tint. several other colors are iffy. Don't buy Utilitech branded products.

Reset Remote Instructions!

If your remote stops working try this. It worked for us. With the lights unplugged, press and HOLD the on/power button on the remote. While holding that down plug in the lights. Wait about 10 seconds and release the button.Now try to turn them on. For us the remote was working again after that. If that did not work repeat the steps with the B button. God Luck!

Already broke

The lights didnt last long, they now no longer turn off (always soft blue). These were certainly not the cheapest option so its disppointing they are such low quality. I will not buy this brand again

don't buy this

the remote sucks and the lights do NOT turn off all the way without unplugging.

Worst Customer Service Ever

We received this light as a gift. Out of the box it had a faulty controller. Called customer service and they said there was nothing they could do. Very disappointed.

Led lighting

My kids love the led lights. they use them as mood lighting for their bedrooms.

Good quality

These lights are durable and come with cool little hardware. The price is a bit steep but so is all LED lighting. The ONLY reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that you have to have the remote aimed at and within 12 feet or so to the sensor (eye). Other then that, lots of different settings, my kid loves them!

Lights are awesome. However, the remote is more than a little touchy. If uou hold the case just right it will work.... if not you can push ALL the buttons to no avail

DO NOT BUY

Every review about the remote being garbage is 100% accurate. There is no actual tape on the strip, you have to use rubber brackets ans screws to secure it. When on red, the color fades to white at the orher end of the strip. Also, they dont turn off!!! Only turn off when unplugged, as soon as i plug back in, there is a dim white light that stays illuminated. The directions that come with it are a joke, the only trouble shooting tip is for “lights not turning on”. DON’T BUY

Poor quality

The lights look horrible and the colors are very poor instead of red you get a bright orange instead of green you get yellow. The lights even malfunction a-lot of times randomly switching colors. This requires you to shut it off and hope it works correctly the next time. Also I should mention that the tape light isnt actual tape on the back it requires you to screw little brackets into your wall. Not worth it for this low quality of a product

Plug in under cabinet LED color changing extension

I cannot find where to purchase additional length to plug in to the original LED light tape. Please advise where to purchase online or in person.

One star is one too many!

This is the most disappointing purchase I have made in quite some time. I usually read the reviews with a grain of salt and take human error into account. In this case run from this product like your hair is on fire. I bought them and then spend about 2.5 hours installing them under my cabinets. You have to attach them with plastic fasteners and screws as they are not adhesive. That is not the problem however. I have them just like a I want them, but the remote does not work consistently...

Failed twice!

High hopes were not enough for this product. Installation was straight forward enough and the lights worked beautifully for about two hours. Then failed RED. LEDS functioned well unto turning them off when they went RED. So this was uninstalled and returned with no problem. The second unit failed in the same exact manner. Returned again and got the Good Earth LED product.

So very very bad

Rarely is product so truly awful that i feel compelled to write two reviews to reiterate how exceptionally bad they are. I bought two sets to make sure I didn't just experience a faulty set and they both failed in multiple ways almost instantly. For example: -Getting stuck on one color -Not being able to turn them on or off at all using the remote -Turning them 'off' and they stay on blue -The dimmer function stops working -Uplugging them at the wall and re-plugging to reset the above failures ...
