Would RecommendThis fixture is flexible for use vertically or horizontally. It comes on and goes off as set every time. It took a slight adjustment to position the sensor so that it works every time. I tried 4 different motion sensor fixtures from various vendors. This is the only 1 that worked consistently.

Just the gadgets I needed
Would RecommendAdding these motion-activators to my existing (very old!) floodlight fixtures was much simpler and less expensive than replacing the light fixtures, and they work just fine. The only glitch was that the base of the activators isn't quite long enough to reach the bottom of the socket. But we hack-sawed off a quarter-inch or so from the neck of each socket, and that allowed the activators to make contact.

That light was almost useless because it would not sense motion unless you were right under it. This one now being reviewed will sense my inside door opening but little else. It would be better if I could arrange the sensor to watch my garage outside entry door as well as my inside entry door
