Failed after two years

18" version. The light was good and sufficient for over sink application for a couple of years, then started fluctuating from almost as bright as it should be to dim. Useless. Actually bowed down / deformed significantly over time. Presumably the cheap plastic structure couldn't handle the heat build up under the cabinet.

Just what my kitchen needed

In total, we ordered and bought from Lowes in Wytheville, VA, 13 of these lights. We loved them so much we installed them over and under our kitchen cabinets and over our entertainment unit in the living room.

Can't be seen!

We wanted undercounter lights that didn't show. So my husband cut the plugin off and hard wired it, Looks great and it can't be seen!

I can not recommend this light. I have had it less than 6 months. I went to hang it above my computer today and it threw a small ball of fire that fell between my keys and had to be blown out. What would have happened if I had not been here when it decided to do this? Light also gets warm, which I did not think much about, but now I am just thankful that this happened while I was sitting here.

Expensive

This light stick was very expensive. Only to find out it has several light color settings that I did not need. It was the only one in stock that would piggy-back to another light. Too bad the store couldn't stock the regular lights that could piggy-back. I don't need a variety of light colors for my work bench.

Fail

Didn't work out of the box. Tried messing with the connections and got a brief flash of light and then couldn't get get it to light up again. Sadly this is indicative of the level of quality Lowes sells in their house brands like Utilitech. I'm not wasting my time anymore on this well priced garbage. I'm heading over to the Orange Guys and getting a better light.

Great lighting

Easy to install and wonderful options for different lighting effects. It seemed a little pricey, but I really wanted plug in LED, not rechargeable.

Under cabinet kitchen light strip.

The light body itself has both "temperature (5 settings)" and "low-high" brightness switches. Perfect - because until you install them you really dont know what setting will be best for you!

Easy to install adjustable lighting

These lights were well suited to my under-cabinet lighting needs. They are low profile, so they do not show below the cabinet fronts. They connect in series, so that I was able to string four sets together on a single switch. The color and brightness are adjustable. All good things. The only problem I encountered was the mounting screws being too long, so they poked through the bottom shelves of the cabinets. I fixed this by inserting a nut as a spacer between the mounting bracket and the cabine...
