My test site is 8' 4" from the floor, and it is quite inconvenient to get a step ladder to reach the power switch; I would like to put it on a smart switch to switch the power on and off. Manual turn on only, switch won’t work
Would Not RecommendVery much like the flat profile and multiple light settings. The biggest bummer is that my electrician installed plugins inside our cabinets and a switch to turn on BUT these lights still have to be manually turned on. They turn off with the switch, but when you turn the switch on you have to go around and push all the on buttons. I bought 6 total.

Would Recommendwe bought this 36" unit for use over our kitchen sink and it provides a great amount of light, however the "soft touch" type of on/off switch is a problem for over sink because it HAS to be turned on at the fixture/unit. we have to get a step ladder to turn it on. this stinks.
