Would RecommendThis just fits my 100 foot 14/2 extension cord without trying too hard. I don't see how some say this will fit a 12/2 cord unless they carefully roll it. Seems like a good quality and I like the 4 outlets.

Tried to link a few of these together with extension cords for a "little weather experiment." Capturing a bolt of 1.21 jigawatt lightning is no easy task. Ended up returning them for a much heavier cable set with a built in cord winder. Worked like a charm! Marty when right ba......ehem.... the experiment was a SUCCESS!

Would RecommendI had previously bought the total plastic reel. I just needed something to keep my 100ft extension tangle free. That's all it did. It took 2 people to get the cord onto the reel and it was never a smooth operation. I was willing to buy just about anything that was better... The problem was that I didn't need all the extra outlets built-in. That would be wasted money. So I chose this reel. I was able to roll my 100 ft cord in less than a minute and did it by myself!!! Definitely the best...
