Easy install. More than meets the needs. Love the motion detection to turn on feature! Being used in a garage workshop, so it's a high ceiling.

Brighter Basement

I love the amount of light that this fixture puts out. It makes working in my basement so much easier.

Motion detection malfunction

Sometimes it never turns out even though there is no motion.

Not effective

These unit apparently shut off if there is light from another source like a second unit. I plan to return them.

“Motion detector” is a photo sensor

Was sold by staff as a motion detector garage light, but utterly fails. In reality, it’s a photo sensor, so it won't turn on when I pull into the garage at night.

this light is junk

At times the light doesn't come on at all. Then later after turning power off to it and back on it works for a little while. Then does the same thing over and over.

Very good

Does exactly what is advertises and lights up our garage brightly. The toggle between the motion sensor and on-only works properly too. The only issue is that the sensor seems to struggle when the main garage door is open and some daylight is coming in - not too big of a deal and not at all an issue at night when the light is really needed.

Motion sensor is terrible at it's only job

Purchased this light today and while it is super bright, the motion sensor seems to be really wonky. So far mine hasn't turned off on either the 5min or 10min setting, so I basically paid an extra $10 over the non-motion sensing version for the appearance of having a motion sensing light. So save yourself the $10 and get the non-motion sensing version and be happy with your new super bright light. It definitely does the lighting part well, so I'll be taking this one back and getting the non...
