Light Weight and Low to the Ground
Would RecommendIf I had used pre-cast concrete deck supports, I would have had to dig small holes to place them in, in order to get the deck as low as I wanted. This product, in comparison, holds the boards quite low to the ground, which allowed me to get the deck as low as I wished. The light weight plastic is much easier than working with heavy concrete. Poured footings and heavy concrete blocks have their place, but this is a great alternative in many situations.

Sturdy, Quality Product
Would RecommendI used these plastic deck supports on my new front porch. I originally picked them because of their shorter height than the cement supports. However, they work great - they are sturdy and easy to install. The only issue I have with them is that I now have to figure out a way to cover the parts of it that are showing since I don't like the look as much.
