Would RecommendGreat strong handle for the one that broke off. I did have to "shape" the pointy end to get it into my old shovel head and I added a bolt across the diameter for insurance.

Hollow center at tip
Would Not RecommendI did not like that underneath the metal cap, the wood had been drilled out, making a hollow cavity. I don't think there is enough wood there to really last anytime, and once it goes the metal covering will become unstable.
Excellent product with solid wood
Would RecommendThis product had the center hole I needed to renew a three tine weeding fork. The Shaft of this is very nice and sturdy. I had to drill two holes to mount the fork and secure it in the handle. This was not unexpected and easily done.
