What Customers Are Saying

This wheelbarrow is suitable for light to moderate home use, with reviewers praising its maneuverability, balance, and durability for common gardening and yard tasks. However, it may not be well-suited for heavy-duty work or large loads, as the frame and tire can be prone to bending or puncturing under too much weight. Some users recommended upgrading the tire or reinforcing the frame to improve its performance and longevity.

Cheap...

Would Not Recommend

I should have put out a little extra money for the more expensive one standing next to it. With any amount of weight in it the tire flattens out. The nub at the front in front of the tires hits the ground if you lift up the back too high (which you have to, because the tire goes flat) and stops you in your tracks. I have to move it around backwards like a rickshaw. Poor quality and design.

Good for the price

Would Recommend

You can't go wrong with a basic wheelbarrow. It has one wheel, a metal bin and wooden handles. This is a traditional no frills wheelbarrow for the person who wants what has worked well for years, and you can't beat the price.

Needs extra bracing.

Would Recommend

Extra brace needed at the front connecting the 2 pieces of wood. Cross bracing is needed at the rear support legs also. It bends under weight if not on level ground. A bit top heavy when loaded but it has a large bin.

Get what you pay for.

Would Not Recommend

I bought the cheapest one.... git the cheapest quality. the bin feels very weak. Maybe Im loading too much in it but once this one breaks, Ill pony up for a much higher quality model.

Don't Waste Your $

Would Not Recommend

We bought this to help us with our flowerbeds (moving mulch & rock & planting plants & such). After we hunted one down in the store & decided on this one wheelbarrow (out of the about 10 others Lowe's offered), we took it home of course and what a PIECE OF JUNK! Unbeknownst to us, when we actually put weight in the thing and tried to use it, the screws weren't holding the construction together, the frame on the bottom was bent (constructed that way) AND the tire was flat. Took it straight back t...

Buyer beware

Would Not Recommend

Do not recommend this wheelbarrow if you have heavy materials to move. I moved mostly bags of cement and dirt from my yard using wheelbarrow. I didn't overload it, but several times I thought it was going to fall apart. Felt very unstable at times. Cheap quality and overpriced. Recommend buying the heavy duty wheelbarrow if you plan to us it for moving heavier materials.

Don't Buy the Kit

Would Not Recommend

Buying the kit was a ridiculous waste of money. Not only were the directions unclear, leading to have to disassemble and reassemble it three times, but even the completed product is incredibly wobbly and tips over CONSTANTLY.

Great and affordable product

Would Recommend

It went together very easy with min amount of tools. I have been hauling 25lb bricks and mulch in it now for 3 days and it's holding up great. I couldn't ask for more.

Great Value, Average Quality

Would Recommend

For the homeowner that won't punish their wheelbarrow with constant use, this is a good buy. I had one very similar, also True Temper from Lowes that took a beating for 8 years before i replaced it due to a broken handle.

Easy to Use

Would Recommend

I am pleased with my new True Temper wheelbarrow. Since I just purchased and have used to haul mulch and large rocks, I can only give a good at this time. Ask me in a year how it is holding up and I may be able to give higher marks. My only con is it is not quite as stable as I would have liked. I have a moderately sloped yard which may attribute to some of the instability. Otherwise very pleased.

Poor Design

Would Not Recommend

Wheelbarrow can not be raised to move but a very small amount before the end piece hits the ground. Very poor design. The wheel could be larger making moving easier with heavy loads. Would not purchase this product again.

Don't waste your money!!

Would Not Recommend

Although this wheelbarrow is a great price, it is totally worthless. The metal brackets are very flimsy and weak. With 1- 80lb bag of concrete in the wheelbarrow, it is very wobbly. The metal is clearly thinner than the blue Jackson version (same manufacturer), Lowe's item # 249096 . It is the same exact size, but thicker metal for the bucket, much sturdier handles & brackets. Go with the Jackson version, much better!

Not stable

Would Not Recommend

The metal bracket at the front of the wheelbarrow moves up and down scraping the wheel every time it is dumped. You need to keep a hammer on staff at all times. When there is a load at all, no matter what, it is wobbly. It just is not designed for adult use at all. I am not sure that I would allow my grandson to play with it either because of it's instability

Not for heavy work!!!!

Would Not Recommend

I just read a previous review about some one busting 10" thick concrete chunks in this thing...they must have a different wheel barrow. This one is good only for light loads. I bought one to help with some demo work and after four days it is about shot. The body is so thin that it conforms to the load. After hauling some rock the bottom is really contorted, so much so that mixing concrete in it is next to impossible. There are to many ripples and dents in the bottom. The metal nose that covers t...

Works fine for real light loads

Would Not Recommend

Pine straw, leaves, general trash it works good. Anything heavy like dirt, concrete, gravel don't even bother. The supports are not made for any kind of load. The handles are too short in length causing more work to lift and manuever. Bad load distribution.

Strong, Durable, worth every penny!

Would Recommend

I bought this wheelbarrow when i was demoing my garage floor. My garage is 20'x20' and the concrete was 10" thick in some areas. I was throw chunks of concrete in this thing and smashing it up and it took a beating and kept on going!!! I piled concrete chunks to the top and although very heavy to move it was still sturdy and easy to move around. I highly reccommend this product to anyone looking for an all purpose wheelbarrow!!
