Would RecommendSo far so good on this.... it is fairly light & that's what I need given that I live in a very hot & humid area & it doesn't take long for my strength & energy to wane. There is a second row of "teeth" on the underside of the main triangle that are smaller & hooked down toward the ground that catch fine pieces of debris. In raking grass the smaller teeth can get full of grass quickly, & though it really doesn't hinder your work in raking, cleaning it out takes a couple seconds longer. I don't...

horrible rake
Would Not Recommendused it two minutes and figured out it is no good unless you are 3 foot tall. only gave it one star because zero stars was not an option. I have large Oaks that drop twigs and nuts and spring clean up is pretty heavy duty. this rake only worked decent when the handle was level to my knees. when back to my broken one from last year that I got a walmart.
Stiff but Good for Certain Jobs
Would RecommendIt doesn't replace your normal lawn rake, as it is stiffer and wants to dig into the lawn some. It is good if you are looking to move big piles or heavy lawn debris. I found it especially good with a big pile of wet leaves.
I hope its better on leaves
Would Not RecommendOk I know its advertised as a "leave rake" but come on. i was using it for spring clean-up and the first 5 minutes one of the tines snapped off. Small twigs and dead grass stick to it like velcro. As far as just leaves I can't say since I doubt it will last until fall, and for $20 I certainly won't be buying another "leaf only " rake.
Best rake I've owned
I would say that I have reduced the spring clean up by 40%. This rake gets a higher number of the small sticks and twigs in less passes.
Great Rake
Would RecommendI purchased this rake in the fall and I love it. Lowes I wouldn't recommend to anyone because of problems with fixing a mess they left when remodeling a home I purchased They do not stand to their guarantee.
Magical Rake
Would RecommendI was skeptical about it being 45% faster compared to its regular rake, but was I wrong. I couldn't believe how much easier and quicker it was to rake. I wish I would have bought this earlier. I used to dread raking the yard but now I am looking forward to it.
I returned it
Would Not RecommendThe reason I bought this rake is because Lowe's was out of the regular style rakes - late in the season. It seemed like a good concept, having two rows of tines to gather more leaves! But it is not sturdy. Within 15 minutes, the first tine broke, the second an hour later. I felt I needed to return it since it wasn't holding up.
I don't think it worked any better than any other
Would Not RecommendI don't think it works any better than any other rake, and the way the two rows of teeth go different directions make it harder to fit into corners and edges.
Yard Warrior
Would RecommendIt did everything I needed it to do. It was wide enough to cover a large area.
Never thought I'd review a rake
Would Recommendbut this thing is awesome. My old leaf rake broke, and this was the first one I saw in the store. I thought, 'looks gimmicky but whatever, and bought it.' It's now my go to rake for most raking jobs and if it breaks, I'll buy it again in a heartbeat. It rakes leaves up without clogging as advertised. It also rakes grass clippings better than any other rake. I have fruit trees in my backyard over grass. Raking up fallen apples, plums, etc. out of the grass is the worst! This rake actually does it...
Would not recommend.
Would Not RecommendI bought this one and the other true temper rake from lowes. I thought this one ( the yellow one) was going to work better than the black true temper one. The yellow one did not get everything like the black one.

The BEST rake for Locust Tree Seed Pods
Would RecommendI have a very large Black Locust Tree in my front yard. It's has a very nice shade canopy during the summer. But.... The darn seed pods that it produces each fall are in the hundreds, if not low thousands. They are about 9"-10" long with hooked ends that dig into the grass which make them extremely difficult to rake or even to use my Billy Goat yard vac. With a traditional rake, I have to make several sweeps over the same spot in order to move all of the seed pods into a pile for picking up....

Looks weird, works great!
Would RecommendNeeded a new rake and saw this one in Lowe's. It was a few $ more than the traditional lawn rake, but I was intrigued (and definitely in the market for something better -- as I have lots of pine trees and need to rake a large part of the lawn almost weekly this time of year in order to avoid pine straw windrows from the mowing). The label on the product says "raking redefined" or something like that. It definitely IS different -- AND IT WORKS! Way less effort than the traditional rake. Well wort...

Nice width - good catch
Would RecommendThis rake is a good design and its light weight and wide swath make it easy to use. Yes, the double teeth catch more pine needles but for best performance you need to lower the angle on the lawn. The best results I found were when I lowered it to an angle less than that of a normal rake. Works fine both ways but lower gave maximum effect. I was working with elm leaves and pine needles and it performed well.

worked as I hoped. only had a few days
Would RecommendThought double row of times would serve as lawn rack; not just leaves. It works great. The moss had to go! Use it before spreading anything (moss control, seed, fertilizer, etc). Worked great spreading your mulch around bushes and trees. Just the right width for clean lines and distance

Great for large jobs
Would RecommendI had no idea there was an easier way to rake! It definitely does what it says in the sense that you never have stop and unclog the claws from stuck leaves. It's a little pricey at $20 for a rake but I'd say it's well worth the investment of you will need it for future jobs.
