I still had my original blades so I replaced it and called it a fluke. A couple weeks later, I hit a piece of a small limb (1.5 inch diameter) that bent the other blade (almost 90 degree angle). I put on the other original blade I still had that was over 15 years old. I still had the receipt and tried to return the bent blades and because it was over 30 days, they would not even give ...

Would Not RecommendAsk yourself," Do I feel Lucky"? When you run over something, the mower will try to cut it, be it grass, big sticks, ant hills, or concreate. Something will brake, bend, shear off, or get dull. The blade is designed to be the cheapest down time. Try braking a spindle housing, bending the deck mounting, or shearing the star on the shaft. Remember something is going to give, and I rather buy a replacement blade than the down time and a 300 dollar repair bill from the shop who loves it when you mo...
